Mood Swings. Well, almost!

Let's face it. It happens to all of us. One minute we are laughing at the lamest of jokes ( please, people, no pointing! ) and the next moment, even a hug won't cheer us up.

One moment, we want to be with friends and the next, the terrace seems such a tranquil escape. And it doesn't help if you get yourself knocked up ( pregnant, to be politically correct ). Then it's all the way to Chaos City for you.

And now, like always, here's me putting my index finger on the "but". Mood swings, they just come to you; but there is a big exclamation mark ( ! ) over the head of the people who enforce it on themselves. This is not because they enjoy it, though. It again circles back to attention.

Let's take an example. If your mood changes, I don't think you'd like to put that on loudspeaker. Those who do, I'm sure aren't reading this blog; so, to hell with diplomacy. I believe that the universe has only two prime energies, the positive and the negative. These two coexist to keep the universe in balance and harmony.

So, if your mood is positive, you don't need to announce it. It shows. Announcing it is just a mere cover-up to give yourself reassurance, generally. Or else, it might be to increase the comfort level of the person in front of you.

If your mood is negative, and you aren't an attention seeker, you tend to turn it positive; so that it doesn't send out any bad vibes to the people around you. Anyway, those who know you well and care for you will inherently sense that something is wrong. But if you are an attention seeker, you'll constantly be in a sour mood, will give the cold shoulder to anyone who'll ask you what's wrong, and/or will be sitting among everyone with a face so irritating that people start feeling a very bad itch on their knuckles. There's only one way to get rid of that itching; a straight one to the protruding snoot. Just an idea.

Well, that's it for today. It feels good to blog again. It so does not! By the way, how was the article? I loved it. No, I didn't. It was infuriating. Hmphh..... mood swings.............
